The problem
Surveyors were writing reports late into the evening because drafting was half of every instruction. RICS Rules of Conduct rule 3 (“proper enquiries” — the duty to evidence why you reached a professional conclusion) required source evidence per report — but the firm’s existing tools could not generate an audit chain to match.
