The problem
Clinicians were losing 4+ hours per week to note-writing, letters, insurance narratives and plain-English patient summaries. The practice had tried generic Ai tools — but every attempt exposed patient identifiers (NHS number, DOB, name, address), which made the DPO’s Caldicott review (the annual check on patient-data handling) impossible to defend.
