The problem
Juniors were pasting ledger lines from Xero directly into ChatGPT to draft management-account commentary. Every paste was a potential breach of ICAEW client-confidentiality rules (the “integrity and confidentiality” fundamental principle) — and the firm had no audit trail to prove otherwise when QAD (the ICAEW’s quality-review team) came round.
How Other Me solved it
They switched to Other Me’s Xero integration, which reads client books through the SCRS firewall (the data firewall that blocks client information from reaching general Ai models).
