The everyday four.
Included on every plan.
Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Meet and Zoom — the tools your day actually runs on. Every Other Me plan (Family or Small Teams, Small Medium Teams, Enterprise) includes them at no extra cost, because they're table stakes, not premium features.
Google Calendar
Seven tools, covering every calendar action your team takes day-to-day. Push-notification sync means the assistant sees new events within seconds of them being booked.
You
“Find me an hour tomorrow that works for Alex and me, skip lunch slots.”
Other Me
Two slots work: 10am–11am or 3pm–4pm. Want me to send both as options or book the earliest?
You
“Move my 2pm to Thursday, same time, and tell the attendees why.”
Other Me
Moved. Updated the invite with your note: “Pushed a day to accommodate a conflict.” Both attendees got the notification.
Seven tools
- · List upcoming events with attendees
- · Create event with title, time, attendees
- · Update event details
- · Delete or cancel an event
- · Fetch full event metadata
- · Share availability / free-busy slots
- · Reschedule an event to a new time
Google Drive
Pull the right document into the current conversation. Works for Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and any file type Drive stores — including PDFs and Office files.
You
“Find the Q1 board deck and summarise the three biggest risks we flagged.”
Other Me
Found Q1_Board_Deck.pptx. Three risks: competitor funding round, hiring delay in Engineering, and supplier concentration on one cloud vendor. Want the detail on any?
You
“Which contracts in Drive are signed with Example Ltd and when do they expire?”
Other Me
Four contracts. Master Services (expires Jan 2027), Data Processing Addendum (rolling), two SOWs (one expired March, one active till August).
What it does
- · Search files by name, type or folder
- · Read document content for RAG and summarisation
- · Pull a specific file into the conversation for follow-up questions
SCRS redacts PII before the model sees it, even inside Drive content. Your documents don't become training data.
Google Meet
Spin up a Google Meet room inline with any calendar event, or create an instant Meet link for an ad-hoc call. Bundled with the Google Calendar integration; no separate setup.
You
“Create a Meet link for my 2pm prep call with Priya and drop it in the calendar invite.”
Other Me
Meet room provisioned. Join URL added to the 2pm invite. Priya will see it when she opens the event.
You
“Give me an instant Meet link — I need to pull Alex into a call right now.”
Other Me
Here's the link: meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij. I've copied it to your clipboard.
What it does
- · Provision Meet rooms inline with Google Calendar events
- ·
meet_create_instant_linkfor ad-hoc meetings - · Bundled with the Google Calendar OAuth connection — no second setup
Zoom
Create meetings with the right settings (waiting room, recurrence, duration), list what's on your plate, update or cancel in one sentence.
You
“Create a recurring weekly Zoom for the product stand-up, Mondays 9am, 30 min, waiting room on.”
Other Me
Created. First instance: this Monday 9:00. Join URL ready — want me to add it to the recurring Google Calendar invite?
You
“What Zooms do I have tomorrow?”
Other Me
Four meetings. Two are internal (10am, 2pm), two are external (11:30 prospect, 4pm partner review). Want join links or prep notes for the external ones?
Five tools
- · List upcoming meetings
- · Create a new meeting
- · Get meeting details and join URL
- · Update meeting settings
- · Cancel or delete a meeting
Uses Zoom's post-2024 granular OAuth scopes — we request only what's needed for the tools listed.
Why these four come with every plan
Some of our peers keep Calendar and Drive behind a paywall. We don't. These tools are part of how people work — paywalling them makes the assistant feel neutered on lower plans. Business-tier integrations (CRM, DocuSign, Xero, Zoho Books, Calendly) are where the real sales and finance automation lives, so that's where the gate sits.
