Modern Slavery Statement

Financial year ending March 2026

1. Introduction

This statement is made by Pop Hasta Labs Ltd (Companies House Number: 16742039) in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps we have taken to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

Modern slavery is a crime and a serious violation of human rights. It includes slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

2. Our business

Pop Hasta Labs Ltd is a UK-based technology company that develops and operates the Other Me AI platform. Our business activities include:

  • Development and operation of AI-powered software services
  • Provision of enterprise data governance and security tools
  • Cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery

We are headquartered in the United Kingdom and our team works primarily in the UK.

3. Our supply chains

As a software company, our supply chains primarily consist of:

  • Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting and computing services for our platform
  • AI model providers — third-party AI models used within our platform
  • Software tools and services — development tools, monitoring, and analytics services
  • Professional services — legal, accounting, and advisory services
  • Payment processors — for handling customer subscriptions and billing

We recognise that while our supply chain is primarily digital and UK-based, we still have a responsibility to be vigilant.

4. Our policies

We have the following policies and procedures in place to help prevent modern slavery:

  • Anti-slavery policy — We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery in our business or supply chains
  • Recruitment practices — We verify the right to work for all employees and ensure fair employment terms
  • Whistleblowing — We encourage staff to report any concerns about unethical behaviour, including suspected modern slavery, without fear of retaliation
  • Supplier due diligence — We assess new suppliers for ethical practices before entering into contracts

5. Due diligence

To identify and manage the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains, we:

  • Evaluate new suppliers and partners for their commitment to ethical labour practices
  • Require key suppliers to confirm they comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015
  • Prefer suppliers based in jurisdictions with strong labour protections
  • Review our supply chain arrangements regularly

6. Risk assessment

We consider the risk of modern slavery in our direct operations to be low because:

  • We are a UK-based technology company with a small, directly employed team
  • Our supply chain is primarily digital services from established, reputable providers
  • We do not operate in industries or regions typically associated with high modern slavery risk

However, we remain committed to ongoing monitoring and will take immediate action if any concerns arise.

7. Training

We ensure that all team members are aware of modern slavery risks and our commitment to preventing it. Key staff involved in procurement and supplier management receive additional guidance on identifying and reporting potential issues.

8. Reporting concerns

If you suspect modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain, please contact us immediately:

  • Email: ethics@pophastalabs.com
  • You can also report concerns anonymously through our internal whistleblowing process

All reports will be investigated thoroughly and confidentially.

9. Review

This statement is reviewed and updated annually. It was approved by the directors of Pop Hasta Labs Ltd.
